Bioitalia was born in 1994, by a group of entrepreneurs very interested in environmental issues. In a short time, it became one of the most important reference in the organic market.
Since its foundation, Bioitalia has been looking for food security, offering high quality products at affordable prices, thanks also to the integration between organic farming and industrial technology.
All the production firms, partners of Bioitalia, have a monitoring and direct control system on their farming. Products, as soon as packed, are conveyed to Bioitalia logistic warehouses: the first in Buccino (Salerno) of 3000 m2 and the second in Pollena Trocchia (Napoli) of 2000 m2 : here Bioitalia manages all national and international shipments.
Thanks to its wide offer, to the different available sizes and to the efficient logistic service, Bioitalia represents the opportunity, for every distribution channel, to have a unique reference in the organic market: in this way, customers can save time, energy and costs.

It is now 15 years Bioitalia produces organic food products: they are from the best Mediterranean food tradition and, the most, from South Italian countries with the taste and the typical characteristics of the “old ones”.
Bioitalia took up the choice of the Organic Farming, because it wishes to offer healthy and safe food products, with high nutritional values and unique organoleptic characteristics, strictly related to our climate and soil. Organic Farming is based on land fertility, respect for plants, animals and landscape and on their optimization.
The employment of natural resources must be related to their protection and preservation: biodiversity is the sum of all life forms of the Earth and therefore it is the most precious resource for our future existence.
To eat organic food products can help actively to its manteinace. Irrational exploitation of the environment by hybrid seeds (that need heavy utilization of fertilizers and chemical pesticides) is causing irreversible damages to the ecosystem of several regions and is seriously imparing typical productions.
Bioitalia commits itself to respect Italian original tastes and recipes and offers food products of the best cooking traditions: Cherry Tomatoes from Vesuvio area, D.O.P. Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Salerno hills, Handmade Pasta bronze drawn according to Neapolitan masters’s ancient methods, made of the best durum wheat semolina of South Italy, the precious Wines from Campania (Greco, Fiano, Falanghina, Aglianico, Solopaca), D.O.P. San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes from Agro nocerino-sarnese and many other deliciousness from organic farming.
Moreover, Bioitalia range includes ready to eat products, without any additives and preservatives, in order to satisfy modern consumer’s demands, who has not enough time but intends having good tastes and wellness. The whole Bioitalia production process from raw materials to finished goods is guaranteed and certified by C.C.P.B. (Consorzio per il Controllo dei Prodotti Biologici), authorized by European Community and recognized by IFOAM and SINCERT, according to international laws. Besides, Bioitalia has expert technicians who supervise and control raw materials, processing, and hygienic-sanitary equipment.
Traceability is insured along the whole line: thanks to the information on the label you can go back from retail package to the farm.

The rules that govern Organic Farming sector is, in Europe, the EEC regulation n. 2092/91. The principles of this law are the official acknowledgement of organic farming as farming method and the definition of specific controls to defend consumers and producers.
These rules allow producers and process workers to work in a clear-cut technical environment and in certain standard laws for every EC Country.
Internationally, controls are defined by IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agricolture Movements), are recognized by European Union and applied in Italy only by the Organizations accredited by Ministero per le Politiche Agricole.
These Organizations must supervise production and process firms in every phase, in particular in:
- organic conversion phase (that is at least 24 months)
- increasing and maintaining soil fertility
- applying protective methods against pests, diseases and infesting plants
- controlling the total ban on the usage of GMO and derivates
- managing documentations and firm registers
- controlling labelling process
- controlling packaging, stocking and freight of organic products
- methodical controlling on organic food products by lab tests to verify absence of unhealty and illegal substances.

Bioitalia food products are certified by Consorzio per il Controllo dei Prodotti Biologici (C.C.P.B.) of Bologna (Italy).
